The PT Design team were delighted to receive their Graduation Award at the Spark2Scale Celebration Event. The event was held at the playful Ziferblat venue at Media City, the home to a wealth of talent and creativity.
Over the last 6-months, the intensive Spark2Scale strategy programme has provided PT Design with one-to-one consultancy, structured training, peer-to-peer networking and on-going support. The advice from a dedicated team of business leaders and industry experts incorporated strategic planning, financial analysis and investment planning, digital marketing and brand development, leadership and growth hacking.
PT Design was delighted to have been selected from a pool of over 300 companies and was one of only 17 businesses within Greater Manchester appointed to the programme’s first cohort. The evening championed the successes of the first and second cohorts of 2017 following completion of the Business Growth Hub’s leading scale-up programme.
The awards were presented by Matt Comber, Chief Partnerships Officer at Volcanic. Volcanic has worked with the Business Growth Hub for over 5 years to support their scale up and move into international markets. Matt was the key speaker at the event and spoke passionately about the need for companies to ‘Innovate to disrupt’. Other rapidly expanding companies who were part of the cohort included Grassroots Recruitment, AWARD Marketing Ltd and United in Languages.
Business Development Director, Emma Oldham commented:
The Spark 2 Scale programme has been a brilliant help over the last 6 months. The learning sessions with like minded business owners have been a great insight into areas such as marketing and growth hacking.
The most valuable part of the programme for us has been the appointment of a designated business advisor. We have been working with them on our strategy and implementation plan. He has challenged our ideas and allowed us to create a set of clear objectives that we continue to review.
The completed objectives are already yielding growth results that we will see in our turnover in the next six months.
We look forward to continuing to work with the Business Growth Hub as we scale up our business into 2018.
PT Design are rapidly expanding. Earlier this year we were pleased to welcome Lee Phillips on board to help us manage our increased workload. Lee brings with him a wealth of knowledge from the foundry Industry and a passion for engineering and design.Tags: Awards
