Pandemics, chatting and 3D Printed Loose Pieces!

It feels like an age since we last posted on our webpage. Like everyone else, lockdowns and home schooling has meant focusing on what really matters in this crazy pandemic. For us, the priorities have been the design work for our customers and making sure our families are happy, safe and well.

What we have missed during the last year is chatting. Those conversations where you realise how you can collaborate better, share ideas and offer better support. A classic example of this is that we have a 3D printer which means that we can print loose pieces for tooling. We’ve actually had the printer for about 3 years and we use it for prototyping – we’ve just never linked the two worlds. It wasn’t until we chatted to one of our pattern making customers that we realised the possibility!

So our lesson learnt during the start of 2021 is that in a world of Team calls and working from home that we still need to find the time to chat and catch up because it is those conversations that can lead to light bulb moments!
