WES organised its third #LottieTour this year for Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (5th – 9th November 2018), to show how varied and exciting it is to work in engineering! This year they had over 150 engineers involved taking photos of Lottie at work and one of those engineering companies was us!

This year, Lottie Dolls produced bespoke PPE for WES including hard hats, high vis jackets, safety glasses and lab coats, so Lottie was ready to go on to a site or in to a lab.  In our office, like us, she was able to simply where whatever she felt comfortable in.

WES Young Members Board coordinated for their Lottie dolls to visit a huge range of companies and universities including National Grid, Balfour Beatty, Aston Martin and the Open University. Lottie has also travelled to Finland, USA, Dubai and Sri Lanka.

With all those huge companies and long travel distances Lottie enjoyed popping in to see us at the end of week.  She joined in discussions around some of current prototyping projects and made a few design changes to one of our projects following a web conference with one of our clients.    Lottie was able to see how our dedicated SME design engineering company balances exceeding our customers expectations whilst having a happy work life balance!
